Trugs is based in Halfmoon Bay on B.C.'s beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are a short ferry trip (40 minutes) from Horseshoe Bay, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Vancouver Island is easily accessible via ferry from Powell River to Comox.

We opened in May 2007 and since then we have grown from serving B.C.'s Sunshine Coast to supplying retail outlets in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Nova Scotia, Alberta and Ontario. Our mail order service extends from coast to coast!

Our roots began in the  Sechelt Farmers' and Artisans' Market, where we are still proud members. You will find us there every Saturday from April 1 - September 30 (downtown: Cowrie Street, behind the library/Aquatic Centre, 9:00 - 2:30).

A trug is a wide, footed, shallow open basket  of simple wooden construction originating in 18th century England.

The work of trugmaking has a peaceful simplicity in today’s world of virtual reality and mass production.

In addition, all who work here are Reiki Masters . You will see + love listed with the ingredients. A VERY important ingredient!

All products  are UPC bar coded and all labelling complies with Health Canada regulations.
